~April... owner/designer of IDL since 2006 and BMG since 2011. I am licensed in the state of TN and landscape design certified through the University of Tennessee. I have worked as lead designer for a local company for over a year, have combined 5+ years experience with other landscape companies, over 25 years of gardening experience and have worked for interior design firms. I have worked on residential designs as well as restaurants, small businesses, common areas and co-designed the renovation of several large corporations in east Tennessee and residential in South Carolina with former employers. I am very passionate about design and excited about giving back to nature, creating cozy living spaces both indoors and out while helping animals at the same time.

Perhaps your home is on the market and the landscaping does not accentuate your home. Curb appeal is the very first thing buyers will notice. No problem! I also work with real estate agents, residential customers and builders.
The process is simple. Email or mail photographs of your home or property to be designed/consultations and you will have computer images returned to you designed, full plant/furniture list and special instructions within days. The computer images give you an great idea of what your home can look like, so there are no surprises!
If you prefer a scaled drawing along with the computer images, arrangements will be made for me to visit the said property for measurements or I may work off of blueprints. Either way, there will be several consultations via email, phone and/or visits to the property. Prices will vary and will be discussed.
After you receive your design/consultation, contact several licensed and insured contractors in your area for quotes. Prices will vary, be sure to check around and inquire about time frame, clean up after installation and ask for referrals before installation begins.
If you are the DIY type and have questions about doing the job feel free to send me an email and I will do my best to help. Most importantly make sure you or your contractor have ALL UNDERGROUND UTILITIES MARKED before the project begins. By doing so, it could save you or your contractor from having to pay for repairs and could save someones life.
